“What are we actually getting?”
What Kasané provides
Kasané provides a dedicated assistant, overseen by our team, that takes on research, writing and follow-up for your organization. Depending on your plan, that can include finding opportunities, drafting grant applications, letters and reports, keeping track of deadlines and reminders, organizing projects, and other work you approve.
- A dedicated assistant with its own name and email
- A client portal
- Tasks and delivered files
- Requests by chat or email
- Oversight from our team
- Integrations you approve
- Usage tracking and support
Your assistant is a work assistant, not a licensed professional. It doesn’t give legal, financial, investment, medical, tax or HR advice. Work in those areas needs review by a qualified person.
“How established is this?”
A young service
Kasané is new and still growing. Features improve as we learn, integrations are added, and the way we work with each organization gets refined. We aim never to disrupt your active work, we tell you about meaningful changes, we fix problems in good faith, and we never quietly expand your assistant’s access to your systems without your approval.
“What exactly is included?”
Your confirmed plan defines the scope
Each relationship is governed by the written plan, proposal or agreement your organization accepts. It sets the monthly fee, the work included, the channels you use, the systems your assistant can access, usage expectations and any special limits.
Work outside your plan, such as custom integrations, regulated work, public campaigns or high-volume work, may need a revised plan or a separate approval. If you want your assistant to contact people outside your organization, publish content or use outside accounts, we agree on that before the work starts.
“How does billing work?”
Billing
Your accepted plan or agreement sets the price, billing start date, renewal timing, any pilot or founding-partner terms, setup fees, taxes and payment method. If you ever have a billing question, your plan is the reference, and you can always just ask us.
If a payment fails, we’ll contact you to sort it out, and may pause the service after reasonable notice. Card and bank details are handled by our payment processor, never stored by us.
“What do you need from us?”
What we ask of you
Give us accurate information when we start and keep key details current. Share only the information, files and access you have the right to share, including information about your donors, members, volunteers and the people you serve. Review and approve outside-facing work where review is required. Keep your own accounts secure, revoke access that should no longer be connected, and tell us right away if something looks wrong, sensitive or out of scope.
“What won’t you help with?”
Acceptable use
Kasané can’t be used for anything illegal, abusive, deceptive or harmful, or beyond the permissions you’ve granted. That includes spam, harassment, impersonation or misleading outreach; inventing results, statistics or stories for funders or donors; stealing credentials or getting around security controls; using data you don’t have the right to use; regulated work we haven’t accepted in writing; and attempts to override your assistant’s safety, approval or access limits.
“Can we rely on what the assistant produces?”
Human review and the limits of AI
Your assistant can research, draft, summarize and organize, but AI can be incomplete or wrong. Review its work before you rely on it for important decisions, grant applications, public statements, legal obligations, financial actions, or any message where accuracy matters. Our team oversees high-stakes work, and your organization makes the final decisions.
“Who owns the work?”
Who owns the work
Your organization owns the finished work we create for you once the fees for that work are paid, apart from any third-party material or tools used to make it. Kasané keeps ownership of its platform, assistant framework, internal tools, templates, processes and reusable methods.
“How does it end?”
Ending the service
Either your organization or Kasané may end the service according to your accepted plan. When you leave, we export your work and remove your active data once you’ve confirmed the export. Backup copies age out on our normal backup cycle.
We may pause or end access for non-payment, misuse, a security risk or a serious breach of these terms, with reasonable notice where we can give it. Some records may be kept where we need them for billing, accounting, legal, security or dispute reasons.
“Who are these terms with?”
Liability, changes and contact
These terms are between your organization and Kasane Operations LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company doing business as Kasané.
We work carefully and in good faith, but the service doesn’t replace your own judgment or professional review where it’s needed. Kasané isn’t responsible for indirect losses, lost profits, interruptions to your work, or decisions made on unreviewed AI output, unless your signed agreement says otherwise.
We may update these terms as the service changes and will tell active clients about meaningful changes. See also our Privacy and Security pages. Questions: team@hellokasane.com.
